Our Story

Founded in 2019, Stone Creek Hardscape LLC was built to fill a major gap in the hardscape industry: proper maintenance and restoration. While most companies focus on installation, we saw the growing need for professional services dedicated to preserving and restoring existing paver patios, walkways, and driveways.

Today, Stone Creek Hardscape is proud to be one of the only companies in Connecticut with a primary focus on hardscape maintenance and restoration, with a large percent of our work dedicated to these services. This specialized approach has allowed us to complete hundreds of projects, each one handled with attention to detail and a commitment to quality.

Owners Sean Crohan and Derek Crohan are deeply passionate about the hardscape industry and have already been featured in Hardscape Magazine within just a few years of starting the company. With over 25+ years of combined experience, they bring both knowledge and dedication to every project.

As we continue to grow, our mission remains the same: to deliver high-quality paver restoration services in Connecticut, exceed customer expectations, and establish ourselves as a leader in the hardscape maintenance industry.

MISSION STATEMENT

Stone Creek Hardscape LLC is a landscaping contractor that specializes in hardscape restoration and maintenance. We are extremely dedicated to providing the highest level of service to our customers. We strive to meet or exceed our customers' needs on all of our projects. Stone Creek Hardscape is very involved in the landscaping community by taking any opportunity to learn and grow our company to be better everyday.

Meet The Owners

Brothers Sean and Derek Crohan built Stone Creek from the ground up with a shared passion for hardscape excellence.

Derek Crohan

CO-OWNER & OPERATIONS

As one of the masterminds behind operating the business day to day, Derek Crohan is a key member to Stone Creek Hardscape LLC. Derek’s career did not start out with a path towards the hardscape industry but he is fully involved with it now. He always had a passion for business in which he attended Central Connecticut State University in New Britain, Connecticut. He focused on business marketing and management, earning his Bachelor of Science in 2017. After graduating Derek went into the corporate world where he found out that was not what he  wanted to do the rest of his career. Leading to starting Stone Creek Hardscape LLC in 2019 in which he takes care of day to day operation while still working out in the field when time permits. On Derek’s time off he enjoys traveling, golf, skiing, and planning business ventures.

Sean Crohan

CO-OWNER & FIELD OPERATIONS

The driving force behind Stone Creek Hardscape LLC is Sean. Sean has been working in the hardscape industry for over 20+ years and hasn’t looked back. He has worked for a few well known landscaping companies in the area in which he has learned many skills. He uses this wealth of knowledge to this day which has helped Stone Creek Hardscape grow to the company we are today. While working for other companies Sean had always wanted to be his own boss and be able to run the job sites in the direction he would like to go. One thing Sean noticed while working for other companies was the lack of maintenance that was put into hardscapes after the initial installation was complete. He approached his brother Derek who had a solid business background and the rest was history. Sean continues to be involved in the hardscape community attending training courses and hardscape events. He makes sure his projects are completed to or exceeding industry standards. When Sean is not on the job site slinging pavers and polymeric sand you can find him fishing, snowboarding, and dreaming about where he will travel to next.

We continue to support our community needs!

In 2020, our Market Partner program allowed us to distribute over $17,500 in food vouchers to low-income families, seniors, WIC recipients and children through our matching programs and Kids Power of Produce Club. The gratitude of the recipients was a joy to experience. 🥰💛 Growing this program not only helps our community members in need, but also helps to grow the customer base of our local farmers and food producers.
