As one of the masterminds behind operating the business day to day, Derek Crohan is a key member to Stone Creek Hardscape LLC. Derek’s career did not start out with a path towards the hardscape industry but he is fully involved with it now. He always had a passion for business in which he attended Central Connecticut State University in New Britain, Connecticut. He focused on business marketing and management, earning his Bachelor of Science in 2017. After graduating Derek went into the corporate world where he found out that was not what he  wanted to do the rest of his career. Leading to starting Stone Creek Hardscape LLC in 2019 in which he takes care of day to day operation while still working out in the field when time permits. On Derek’s time off he enjoys traveling, golf, skiing, and planning business ventures.

The driving force behind Stone Creek Hardscape LLC is Sean. Sean has been working in the hardscape industry for over 13 years and hasn’t looked back. He has worked for a few well known landscaping companies in the area in which he has learned many skills. He uses this wealth of knowledge to this day which has helped Stone Creek Hardscape grow to the company we are today. While working for other companies Sean had always wanted to be his own boss and be able to run the job sites in the direction he would like to go. One thing Sean noticed while working for other companies was the lack of maintenance that was put into hardscapes after the initial installation was complete. He approached his brother Derek who had a solid business background and the rest was history. Sean continues to be involved in the hardscape community attending training courses and hardscape events. He makes sure his projects are completed to or exceeding industry standards. When Sean is not on the job site slinging pavers and polymeric sand you can find him fishing, snowboarding, and dreaming about where he will travel to next.
